The track career after she completed her studies during 2005 Jones was able to begin training for the track. She won both her events, the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track races during the same season.

Born and raised within Cape Town South Africa Brandt moved with her family to Auckland New Zealand in her early teens. Brandt was found by casting directors in her native town, and she was offered the part as Naevia for the Starz hit Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Produced by Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi she captivated audiences by her acting and was an one of the series' biggest stars. Mazikeen appeared as the Vertigo/DC comics fan favorite Mazikeen in Netflix's Lucifer show, which lasted for a total of six years. Lesley Brandt along with the rest of her family relocated from the United States to Auckland New Zealand, in 1999. After several years being employed in the retail industry her promotion was to the post of an IT consultant. Lesley's professional career started with handful of modeling projects. She then appeared in countless commercial advertisements. She graduated in 2008 from her college and began studying Meisner method of study. Her first acting job was with the New Zealand TV series Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt was a guest acting support on the New Zealand television drama Shortland Street. She then appeared in This Is Not My Life. It is based off the true story of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt starred in the television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia, a hostage who then appeared in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena Miniseries.
