Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress most commonly known for her part as Bo in the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, and Ilkay Silk who is a renowned performer, actress, and playwright as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her most fond memories of watching TV and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk made several commercials while she was still a child. She was a graduate of St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she was introduced to him at an Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. The couple was wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. They renewed their vows April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's was converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of May of 2016. Silk's work on television is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she got the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk announced to her fans that she was pregnant at the beginning of January 2013, during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. Silk tweeted on June 20th 2013 that the show was coming back to its production. The fourth season debuted on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) together with Lauren (played by Zoie) and Lauren (Zoie) as one of their top television couples. Entertainment Television.
